Ridley Station.
In the spring of 2007 I realised that Hornby OO gauge live steam will probably never be as cheap again so I bought the Mallard set with a view to building a layout.
It started off as a single loop and station with a bay platform - it's grown a bit since then...
Now you see it...
Now you don't!
Not having much spave available, I needed to work out some way to have a layout. My solution was to build it to fit around a window and hinge it so that it will fold down when needed.
The layout has developed...
And a new engine A3 Papyrus....
