In the spring of 2007 I realised that Hornby OO gauge live steam will probably never be as cheap again so I bought the Mallard set with a view to building a layout.
It started off as a fold away, single loop with station and a bay platform - it grew into a somewhat larger layout but has now been dismanteld because I'm now into G scale garden railways.
I'll leave these images up just to remind me what I had.

Not having much spave available, I needed to work out some way to have a layout. My solution was to build it to fit around a window and hinge it so that it will fold down when needed.
